Dr. April Foster
Expanding access & building trust

Dr. April Foster, DO
Dr. April Foster is an Osteopathic Physician, board certified in Family Medicine, with a career dedicated to serving patients in their most vulnerable moments. She believes that the patient–provider relationship is built on connection, respect, and service—and that healing happens when providers truly come alongside patients. At OrderlyMeds, she brings this philosophy to GLP‑1 care, helping patients feel supported, informed, and confident throughout treatment.
Her medical expertise extends beyond conventional care into functional medicine, an approach that focuses on finding and addressing the root causes of illness. Functional medicine uses advanced diagnostics, personalized nutrition, stress management, and lifestyle adjustments to create tailored treatment plans. This complements GLP‑1 therapy by supporting the whole person—not just the prescription—helping patients maintain progress long after the medication phase.
Dr. Foster’s experience spans urgent care, rural medicine, and telemedicine, including her role as Medical Director of Western Tidewater Free Clinic in Suffolk, Virginia. Over the past seven years, she has focused on telemedicine, working as a nationwide Virtualist Physician to expand access to care.
I believe patients give providers an incredible honor when they invite us into their most vulnerable moments. My role is to serve—to listen, connect, and guide—so patients feel empowered to create their own path to health.
