Got questions on GLP-1 multi-month ordering? We’ve got answers!
How do I get started?
To start, simply click ‘Get Started’. We have an easy online process that will take you through a quick virtual health screening questionnaire to collect information on your medical history and determine your eligibility. Our internal team reviews your information and submits you to our doctors at Beluga Health. They will have a text consult with you and if approved, your prescription will be sent to one of our pharmacies for compounding.
I’m a current OrderlyMeds customer, how do I switch to multi-month?
The options for multiple months will be available on your check in form.
I am not a current OrderlyMeds customer, can I bring my existing prescription to purchase multi-month?
Yes, just select “currently on GLP-1 medication” and you will be able to upload your current prescription on the health screening form. Please note it must be a current prescription (written in the last 60 days) and have your name on the medication and dosage, as well as the date written visible in the picture uploaded.
I am new to GLP-1 medications, can I purchase a multi-month plan?
These offers are only available to patients that have taken a GLP-1 medication within the past two months. If you’re just getting started, we have a 3 month starter dose option available that will allow you to begin at the lowest dose, and increase your dose over the following two months so you can gradually get used to the medication, and reduce any potential side effects.
Do you offer payment plans for multi-month orders?
Currently, we require full payment for each month’s medication at the time of ordering. Our service is offered on a month-to-month basis, so you only commit to one month at a time and aren’t locked into a long-term financial contract.
What is a BUD?
The Beyond Use Date (BUD) is the date after which a compounded medication should not be used.
How are Beyond Use Dates (BUD) being extended?
We want to assure you that our pharmacy partner adheres strictly to FDA requirements and industry standards regarding beyond-use dating (BUD) for compounded medications.
In this case, the medication in question was subjected to stability and potency testing by an FDA-approved laboratory. The results confirmed that the medication remained safe and effective for up to 300 days from the date of compounding. Based on this validated data, the pharmacy that compounded the medication updated the BUD in compliance with FDA and regulatory requirements.
It is important to note that BUD dates are not arbitrarily extended—they are established either by default USP guidelines or by scientifically validated stability studies, such as the one conducted here. Because the study confirmed extended stability, the updated BUD is fully supported by laboratory evidence and regulatory standards.
We take patient safety very seriously, and all compounded medications dispensed by our pharmacy are handled in accordance with applicable federal guidelines and testing requirements.
What if I want to increase my dose?
This is available for 2 month plans, as well as our 3 month starter dose vials, but is not an option on the 3 or 4 month extended BUD plans.
Can I use my HSA or FSA account to pay for this?
Yes – we accept HSA/FSA payments.
How will I get my medication?
We take payment for all medication upfront, and send all medication to you in one shipment.
Why are the higher dosages more expensive?
The higher doses are priced at $449 per month because of the increased dosage, and increase in the amount of medication delivered.
