*In a 68- and 72-week clinical trial studying Wegovy (2.4 mg) and Zepbound (15 mg) in patients without diabetes and with BMI ≥30, or BMI ≥27 with a weight-related condition, the average weight loss was 15% and 20%, when paired with diet and exercise changes (compared to 2.4% and 3.1%, respectively, with diet and exercise alone).
‡The effect of Wegovy® 2.4 mg once weekly on the risk of major cardiovascular events such as death, heart attack, or stroke was studied in adults with known heart disease and either obesity or overweight compared with those on placebo (an inactive injection). On average, adults were in the trial for 3.5 years (41.8 months). All study participants also received standard of care for their heart disease as recommended by their health care professional. This included medications for managing cardiovascular risk factors such as high blood pressure or high cholesterol, as well as individualized healthy lifestyle counseling (including diet and physical activity). § A comprehensive and inclusive systematic review suggests that behavioural weight loss interventions result in improvements in a number of mental health outcomes, including body image concerns, depression, mental health-related quality of life, self-efficacy, exercise self-efficacy, and diet self-efficacy. Frequently asked questions
How quickly is treatment prescribed?
Creating your account and filling out your online health screening application can be completed in minutes at your convenience. Within 48 hours our licensed medical providers will review your information and prescribe treatment if appropriate. Some states require by law that visits are completed via video, which you can schedule at your convenience. Most patients can schedule their visit within 1-2 days.
Can I talk to a doctor via phone or video call?
Your provider consultation is done by chatting with the doctor via chat in your OrderlyMeds patient portal. If you are located in New Mexico, Michigan, or Louisiana, you will consult with your provider via live video. All follow ups with a provider will be conducted via your patient portal chat. We’ll alert you via text any time you have a new message from our medical team.
What medications does OrderlyMeds offer?
We offer two types of GLP-1 medications, semaglutide and tirzepatide. You may be prescribed branded medications WegovyⓇ and ZepboundⓇ, or if you have medical needs that require personalized medication, compounded GLP-1 injections or oral tablets, or compounded GLP-1/GIP injections. Our compounded GLP-1 and GLP-1/GIP injectable medications are administered through a once-weekly subcutaneous injection using a tiny insulin syringe. For those who have a fear of needles, you may also be prescribed a once daily compounded GLP-1 oral tablet.
