All our pharmacy partners are 503A designated. These traditional compounding pharmacies create customized medications tailored to individual prescriptions and are regulated by state boards and the FDA. They must adhere to USP standards, and are also subject to specific sections of the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act (FDCA), including requirements for compounding drugs based on valid patient-specific prescriptions. The FDA also inspects these pharmacies to ensure they meet safety standards and do not compound under insanitary conditions.¹
